Biography
Nicole L. Hollingsworth is an accomplished insurance defense attorney with more than 18 years of experience representing clients in complex litigation matters throughout New Jersey and New York. Her practice focuses on insurance defense, motor vehicle liability, premises liability, construction defect claims, bodily injury litigation, and coverage-related issues. She has extensive experience handling matters in both state and federal courts and is well-versed in New Jersey court procedures and litigation practices.
Nicole has successfully managed complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, handling all aspects of case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial. As lead trial counsel, she has participated in more than 40 jury trials involving contested liability and damages issues, demonstrating a strong ability to advocate effectively on behalf of her clients.
Throughout her career, Nicole has advised clients on liability exposure, damages assessments, coverage questions, indemnification issues, and litigation strategy. Her experience includes conducting and defending depositions, arguing motions, examining witnesses at trial, and negotiating favorable resolutions through settlement, mediation, and arbitration. Nicole earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she received a Dean's Academic Scholarship and earned honors in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During law school, she was active in Moot Court and received recognition for excellence in appellate advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
